How to take care of your isla piercing
KEEP IT CLEAN
To care for a fresh piercing, clean it with saline solution, not with rubbing alcohol or disinfection products, 3 times a day. Use a recommended aftercare spray to clean.
DON’T STRESS
Some swelling, light bleeding, tenderness, bruises and crusties are normal, especially in the first few weeks of healing.
KEEP IT SAFE
Avoid pulling and getting your piercing caught in clothing. Always clean your hands before touching your piercing, and do not play with it or twist it. We know it’s tempting, but don’t! You can “turn” the earring, but ONLY when it’s wet and you are cleaning it. If it is dry, never twist or turn it.
KEEP IT DRY
During the healing process, do not visit saunas, hot tubs, swimming pools or lakes. Avoid bath tubs and use showers instead.
DOWNSIZE
Come for check-ups and downsize the jewelry in the indicated time.
